The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) has been working with the Namibia Ministry of Health to improve the country’s public health laboratory infrastructure. John Pfister, along with fellow APHL consultants Rick Alexander and Jack Nyamongo, recently facilitated a week-long meeting in Swakopmund, Namibia of the Integrated Public Health Laboratory Committee (IPHLC). We’re assisting this team meet its charge of developing a National Public Health Laboratory System Model, Policy, and Strategic Plan. Things are progressing well.
