John Pfister has accepted an invitation to a workgroup meeting at the CDC in Atlanta on August 15th to discuss the concept of return on investment in public health labs, specifically focusing on financial metrics. Participants with a variety of backgrounds (public health labs, clinical labs, commercial labs, health economists, etc) will be attending. Sounds like it will be an interesting day.
